The seat of the Mazatlan municipality, this city is located in Sinaloa State, Mexico across the Baja California peninsula. - Mazatlan Aquarium - with over 250 species of marine life in its over 50 tanks, the Mazatlan aquarium is one of the most impressive standalone aquariums.
