Before we have a look at what you can do in Belize, let's first look at the weather you can expect in March.

March weather in Belize<\/h2>To get a good overview of the type of weather you can expect in March in Belize, we will look at the day and night temperature, minimum and maximum water temperature, and if March is comfortable or humid

Generally, March in Belize will be really nice. Historical data shows that you can expect an average temperature of around 82\u00b0F \/ 28\u00b0C. But due to the extreme humidity it can feel extremely uncomfortable. During the night, it will cool down to around 71\u00b0F \/ 22\u00b0C. Many will prefer a location with air conditioning due to the high humidity level.

Belize has rainy days in March. You can expect around 9 rainy days, with on average 0.9 inches \/ 24 mm of rain during the whole month.

But remember that rain can be short and heavy for many tropical locations, particularly during the rainy season. It means that the number of days with rain and the amount of rain can be high, but you will still see many lovely days with a short period of heavy rain.

    Belize is famous for its uncrowded and pristine beaches. You can swim in the warm ocean, enjoy local cuisine from seaside restaurants, or simply get a nice tan from sunbathing for hours.<\/div>
    Bird watching<\/div>
    There are over 500 species of birds that flock to Belize during the migratory season, including water birds. There are many birding hot spots scattered across Belize so wherever you choose to stay, you would most likely be able to see some birds.<\/div>
    Fishing<\/div>
    Fishing is one of the most important activities in Belize, and tourists can also have a go at it. There is an abundance of game fish and regardless of your fishing skills, you are almost guaranteed to make a catch.<\/div>

    Most of Belize's islands are undeveloped and uninhabited, but that does not take away their beauty of them. The Belize barrier reef has stunning clear waters and golden sands you can visit.<\/div>

      The great blue hole is another thing Belize is well known for, the giant hole in the ocean a few miles off the coast of Belize. The hole is a cave that was once an island that collapsed 500 feet into the sea. The hole is so vast it can be seen from outer space.<\/div>

      Belize's forests and parks are home to numerous wildlife species like birds, wildcats, monkeys, and more.<\/div>
      Caves<\/div>
      The many caves in Belize offer you a different type of experience as you tour each one. Most of them have Maya pottery and clay work on display, as well as interesting ancient passageways and ritual sites.<\/div>
      Mayan ruins<\/div>
      One of the top attractions in Belize are the numerous Mayan ruins. Once the cradle of Mayan civilization, there is no shortage of excavated ruins for you to enjoy. The country has more Mayan ruins than any other place in the world, and the majestic pyramids are a sight to behold.<\/div>
