Alamogordo New Mexico is the county seat of Otero County and was founded in 1898. It is known for its many cottonwood trees and its connection with the 1945 Trinity Test<\/strong>, which was the first-ever atomic bomb detonated at the Alamogordo Test Range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
