- Christ The Redeemer - one of the most recognizable statues in the world, the 30 meter (98 feet) tall statue of Christ the Redeemer can be found in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This colossal statue sits on top of a chapel that is most often used for weddings surrounded by a wide plaza.
