Generally, April in Panama will be really nice. Historical data shows that you can expect an average temperature of around 84°F / 29°C. But due to the extreme humidity it can feel extremely uncomfortable. During the night, it will cool down to around 77°F / 25°C. Many will prefer a location with air conditioning due to the night temperature, and the high humidity level.
Panama has its share of rainy days in April. You can expect around 15 rainy days, with on average 3.1 inches / 79 mm of rain during the whole month.
But remember that rain can be short and heavy for many tropical locations, particularly during the rainy season. It means that the number of days with rain and the amount of rain can be high, but you will still see many lovely days with a short period of heavy rain.

Casco Antiguo
The Casco Antiguo is the historic district of Panama City. It is also known as Casco Viego or San Felipe. It was built in 1673 after the original Panama city was almost destroyed by pirates in 1671. There are also Churches & Cafes within the district.
Plaza de Francia
Plaza de Francia, or France Square, is situated on the city's southern side. It has large stone tablets and statues addressing the French role in the Panama Canal construction.
